We not only achieved our goal: we exceeded it by $400! I'd planned to fill you all in on my Kickstarter plan and execution this week, but I am exhausted, dear reader/writer. You're relentlessly optimistic protagonist (me) is tapped and needs a break. I promise you'll get the entire deal next week. With pictures, links, and everything you need to know to run your own!
I do have one note for you, dear Writer: Be social. That might not seem like much of a hint, but it's massive. Make sure you tell anyone who breathes about it, even when it feels forced.
Anyway, as of right now, I'm waiting for the funds to come in. Apparently, Kickstarter takes about two weeks to do this. I wasn't counting on that, so my (EPUB) deadline for "The Flickers of Fall" will already be late. I figure the editor needs at least two weeks to read and edit the book, so I'm shooting for the book to be done by January.
That means our official release date for The Flickers of Fall is early February 2023!! I honestly can't wait to share my book with you! It's been a long road, and it's nowhere near done, but with the funds on the way, the dream is becoming a reality!
